Health Benefits

  • The heat from the sauna increases blood flow and improves circulation, lowering blood pressure and improving heart function. Regular sauna use significantly decreases the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Cardiovascular health

  • Sauna use has been increasingly recognised for the positive effects it has on mental health. As well as promoting relaxation, triggering endorphin release and reducing stress, the heat stimulates the release of serotonin which helps mood stability and alleviates symptoms of anxiety and depression. The calming environment of the beach encourages mindfulness and connection to nature.

Mental health

  • Higher temperatures in the sauna increase white blood cell production, strengthening your immune system and enhancing the body’s natural defence mechanisms. This improves the ability to fight off infections and illness, providing stronger immunity and better health.

Boosts immunity

  • Encourages the growth of new brain cells and improves brain function. Studies have shown that using the sauna 4 - 7 times per week significantly decreases the risk of developing Dementia by up to 66% and Alzheimer’s by up to 65%.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s

  • The improved blood circulation from the sauna reduces inflammation by speeding up muscle recovery and providing natural pain relief. When paired with cold water immersion, the anti-inflammatory benefits are accelerated to promote faster healing.

Muscle recovery

  • The increase in body temperature from the sauna reduces tension in your muscles and releases endorphins promoting deep relaxation. The gradual fall in core temperature after the sauna encourages faster sleep onset and leads to deeper, more restorative sleep.
