All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.

Alcohol, drugs and nudity are not permitted in the sauna. The Sauna Môr operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for any other reason that may be deemed a health & safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

All persons using the sea as a ‘cold plunge’ do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures and varying conditions of the sea.

You should not use the sauna if you:
-Suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder
-Suffer from epilepsy or diabetes
-Are pregnant
-Are prone to dizziness or fainting

It is advised that all jewellery and watches should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

You must be 16 or over to use the sauna during community sessions. Minors aged 7 and over can use the sauna during private sessions only.
Between the age of 7 - 16, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the session, inside or outside of the sauna. Minors will need to be accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 ratio.

Minors should not touch any of the hot surfaces in and around the sauna stove. Minors are not permitted to pour water over the sauna stones due to the risk of getting burnt by the steam produced. 
Minors are not able to regulate their body temperatures as well as adults so they should do shorter rounds in the sauna and should stay on the lower bench of the sauna at all times. 

You will be asked to sign a waiver form accepting full responsibility of the minor during your sauna session. 


Surfaces can become wet and slippery caused by water, ice, snow or other substances. Please take caution when entering and exiting the sauna. Use the steps in a safe manner and ensure all access points are kept clear for other sauna users. By reading and accepting these terms & conditions I accept full responsibility for any known and unknown risks inside or outside of the sauna.


Please note that the Sauna is accessed via steps.


Be aware that the sauna stove, chimney and rocks are extremely hot. Direct contact with these can cause severe burning and injuries.

If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of the terms and conditions and to practise safe sauna use.
 

Sauna Môr are not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property. We recommend bringing as little as possible and leaving valuable items at home or in your car. Electronics such as phones may get damaged from the heat inside the sauna, use these at your own risk. 


It is important to stay well hydrated, please drink plenty of water before, during and after your sauna session. No glass water bottles allowed in the sauna.


The sauna may use products such as essential oils. Please inform us if you have any allergies that may react to the essential oils prior to your sauna session.


The Sauna Môr operators reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.


Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes: 

  • Washing feet in the bucket provided before entering the sauna

  • Sitting on a towel at all times for hygiene purposes. 

  • Staying in the sauna for no longer than 20 minutes at one time (we recommend 5 - 15 minutes).

  • Gently pouring water onto the rocks, do not dump the water. Pour from the back to the front to avoid being burnt by steam 

  • Only pouring the designated ‘sauna water’ on the stones and nothing else

  • Entering and exiting the sauna in a safe manner

  • Do not touch any part of the stove or rocks

  • Behave in a respectful manner towards other sauna users

  • Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed

  • Getting changed within your booked time slot if you’d like to use the changing room

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel or reschedule your session with no less than 48 hours notice. 

Although we can’t guarantee credit with less than 48 hours notice, we will try our best to fill the slot and reschedule your booking. 

If you wish to cancel or reschedule please contact us on info@saunamor.co.uk with your booking details.

Please note that we are unable to cancel or reschedule your booking with less than 24 hours notice.

We do not refund ‘No Shows’.

All sauna sessions are transferable if you’re unable to attend, you can gift your session to a friend / family if you’re unable to attend.

In the event that we cancel a booking, you will be notified by email and refunded.
